I enjoy blending my unique creative and tactical skills to orchestrate effective marketing and content strategies. Having worked in creative and design roles, through process, planning, strategy and launch I am able to visualize time lines and problem solve in real-time. I know what it takes to produce quality content while also staying focused on priorities and maintaining momentum. My passion is creating vision and direction out of chaos and lack of clarity.

Being creative is at my very core in all aspects of my life. Over my 20+ years of being a creative I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the most amazingly talented people.

Creative mentorship is a bidirectional process, by working with and appreciating each individual’s style you not only help them tap into their true ability, you learn to refine yours as well.

When you are thinking through strategy it is key to factor in all creative pieces in order to timeline effectively, repurpose content, and create visuals that speak to and inspire your audience.

Marketing strategy starts with a deep dive into the heart of the business, defining quick wins and long term goals.

In order to acquire and retain your customers you have to know your audience. A diverse, targeted plan allows you to reach the right people with the right content.

Successful long term strategy is never written in ink, you must continue to test, adapt, and retest. If something is not working, change it and try again. The days of “set it and forget it” are over.

As an independent contractor I worked with two companies:

RocketBike LLC, a boutique digital agency in downtown Portsmouth Virginia. As the Product Marketing Director of the E-Commerce and Amazon division, a new company segment, I worked with the executive staff to build the process and lay groundwork for future client onboarding. My role was a full scope of work from research and analysis, creation of copy and design, deployment, thru to audit/reporting for Amazon accounts. A key focal point was safeguarding and leveling-up brands on Amazon with content relevancy, upgraded standards, accuracy, continuity, and cleaning up 3rd party issues. My ability of deep detective work and thread-pulling through seemingly endless data was heavily utilized.

Gator Cases, Inc., my former employer of 15 years brought me on to assist with creative and marketing support for their Gator Cases, Frameworks Stands and Levy's brands. I was on-hand to provide remote support for graphic design, copy writing, trade shows and events, digital marketing, website design, PR and Communications, as well as market/product research.

Great HealthWorks was in the middle of a shift from heavy TV Media to a greater focus on digital reach. I was brought on-board to unify the media, creative and digital teams in order to leverage all existing content while building new to fit the format of the digital world. Together with all of the teams we built targeted lifestyle campaigns to run across all paid, organic, and e-commerce channels. My role was to work with the executive team to create the campaign outlines, KPIs, and timelines and assist with translating to the team in order to carry out. My secondary focus was to create a project management process and system utilizing Wrike software in order to orchestrate our large teams With a large team, several brands and massive amount of content I created a project management process utilizing Wrike software allowing teams to individually focus on priorities and upper level managers to have visibility of the projects from a higher view.

My story at Gator is a long one, 15 years in the making in fact. I started at Gator when it was just 4 years in and only 8 employees. I was brought in to build the story of the brand, expand on marketing capabilities, generate high quality content, level up the trade show experience, as well as support our network of dealers, distributors, and representatives. During my time there I was a key part of significant growth including the launch, acquisition, and distribution of several brands and divisions. We built a 196,000 sf. factory and distribution center in Indiana to bring a large amount of work and manufacturing into the US. The Gator Enterprise Brand is now a household name with over 150 employees, 3000+ US Dealers, and distributors in 90+ countries. Through my time at Gator I went from being the hands-on creative doing all of the print, digital, press and communications work myself to orchestrating teams of people within and outside of the company.

  • Integral part of company 10X growth from $5M to over $50M annually

  • End to end content and marketing strategy for all brands including:

    • E-mail, direct mail, giveaways, and swag

    • Print advertising, digital advertising, and point of purchase programs

After spending so much time working the previous 2 years for Futura directly with the software users I began to see that we were missing out on our marketing opportunities. I traveled constantly with sales and to trade shows in order to gain more insight on what was needed. I moved into this position to build the brand identity and expand our reach to a much larger audience. One of our key achievements was to launch our in-house training facility where we would help setup everything from travel to education outlines for companies to send their teams to our location.
